I Crept My FitBit Stats and This is What I Found

It's day 7 of my 21 Day Fix Extreme journey and while I'm not comfortable sharing any pictures yet, I can tell you that I lost a whopping 0.7 pounds. Not too shabby. Could I have lost more if I followed the meal plan? Ya I probably could. But you know what? I'm making the program work for me, and my lifestyle.
I like doing things in phases. So for me, phase one is getting through 21 straight days of workouts and completing the program. Phase two will be doing a second round, and learning how to find the time to meal prep and follow the food plan. But more on that later. I have to survive these first 21 days first!
I was going somewhere with this post but now I can't remember.....OH YA. OK, I got it.
So this morning I went to log my whopping 0.7 pound weight loss in my FitBit app, and I thought wow, I don't think I've been this heavy in a long time. So I scrolled down-down-down and found my weight log from January 2015. I was 13 pounds lighter than I am right now.

21 Day Fix Extreme Update - Week 1 Down

I'm 6 days into 21 Day Fix Extreme (don't do the math from my last post) and I remember why I like it so much. I'm going to confess, I'm not following the meal plan but I am tracking what I eat with my FitBit app and making sure I stay within my the calorie range 21 Day Fix Extreme recommends. I've also found a meal replacement shake which I'm pretty excited about...but more on that later.

A couple of weeks ago  I declared my goal for that coming week. You can read about it here. And while I didn't exactly dust off my 21 Day Fix Extreme DVD's, I did follow through on my other goals:
I made mini goals for the week so that I wouldn't be overwhelmedWhile I didn't dust off my 21 Day Fix Extreme DVDs I made sure to move my body mostly every day. Whether it was a funky new Pinterest workout I found, or it was dancing around with the kids, or challenging my…

Blogging From My Phone Today and Goal Setting

I'm trying to enjoy a quiet morning while the kids are occupied with their friends but I can't seem to relax or focus on the tasks I had set out for myself.
I'm distracted. It's how I have felt for the past couple of months.
But this week I'm staying focused. I'm making goals. And I think the trick is to not take on too much. Start small, then work my way up.
This week I will dust off my 21 Day Fix Extreme DVDs and will move my body everyday.
This week I will choose foods that make me feel good, not crummy. That I know will work with my IBS - not against it.
This week I will have more patience with the people around me, and I will be grateful. Truly, authentically grateful for the lessons I learn each day.
Happy Sunday Funday to you all. What are your goals for the week?

My Liebster Award Nomination

I'm so honoured to have been nominated for the Liebster Award last week. I've been looking for new blogs to help build my new blogger tribe and so this opportunity is so timely.  My friend Kyah over at Weekend Tempo nominated me last week and of course I accepted. Thank you so much Kyah!

My Week According to Pinterest

Sometimes I wish that I had like an entire day to myself (no hubby, no kids) to just get stuff done. But then I get time to myself, and I instantly miss the chaos that comes with having two kids under 5 years old. Call me crazy, but it's like I don't even know how to relax anymore.
The kids are out for a couple of hours and there are so many things I can be doing. Cleaning the house, doing laundry, meal prepping for the weekend, working out, taking the dog for a walk. But no, I'm choosing blogging today. But that's OK right? It's my stress relief. My creative outlet that I always complain I have no time for.

In honour of the weekend, and the super cold weather, here are a few things I pinned on Pinterest this week. Some are health and fitness related...some aren't - but t hat's just how this momma rolls.

My most popular pins was my list of 10 Fitness Inspired Instagram Accounts I follow, and this quote about the Law of Attraction.
